Make San José’s Lasting Home for Live Music Your Legacy.

Help bring Levitt Pavilion San José to life in historic St. James Park, and create a place where free live music brings people together for generations to come.

Friends of Levitt Pavilion San José, in partnership with the City of San José and Levitt Family Foundation, is building a 2.6 acre performance campus in the most underutilized public park in downtown San José. Levitt will be the catalyst for its radical transformation - through joyful activation.

Friends of Levitt Pavilion San José will produce 50 FREE, all ages shows in the park annually, and make this turnkey venue available on a sliding scale to artists, arts groups, schools and community groups.

Construction begins August 2027. Will you be at the groundbreaking?

Your gift WILL help fund:

  • A Welcoming Concert Lawn - Create an inviting, comfortable place where neighbors gather to experience free live music. Imagine new lighting, additional trees, landscaping, friendly signage.

  • A World-Class Performer Experience - Help artists feel welcomed and inspired so they can deliver unforgettable performances. Visualize an artist hospitality kitchen, green room amenities, quality audio gear.

  • A Vibrant Community Gathering Space - Support the amenities that make Levitt a destination before, during and after every concert. Enjoy permanent tables and chairs, hospitality building, beer / wine garden.

  • A Family-Friendly Park Destination - Create a place where everyone - from toddlers to grandparents - feels welcome and safe. Picture permanent restrooms, better lighting, park benches, security features.

  • The Technology That Powers Unforgettable Performances - Provide the professional systems that bring every concert to life. Experience a state of the art sound system, LED wall, broadcast capability.

  • Building a Lasting Legacy: Investment helps ensure that Levitt will provide free live music and community programming for generations to come. Be a part of building founding staff support, an inaugural music education program, accessibility initiatives.
